"It treats viruses and bacteria, heavy metals, hydrocarbons, and chemical residues," state Paul and Auguste Minot. A simple lever is used to prime a pump and engage the filtration process. Up to 1,300 liters can be purified in one hour, the two inventors claim: "Our machine weighs 80 kg and requires little maintenance. The filters must be changed every 3 to 5 years. Depending on the conditions of use, a simple monthly or bimonthly cleaning of the filters is sufficient," explains Auguste Minot.

The innovation developed by FiltraLife Solution is marketed at a price of 6,900 euros, excluding taxes. Paul Minot intends to primarily target associations, NGOs, and states to deploy this machine in the most arid regions or those lacking access to drinking water.
